One of my least favorite training & fitness phtases.
Pain is your brain signalling you that SOMETHING IS WRONG!
It takes real strength, courage and a commitment to excellence in movement and fitness to step back, listen to the message and change what must.be changed.
It’s also this common sense that has been beaten out of us by the “more is better” mentality and marketing in our profession.
Don’t fall for the hype. Training with pain isn’t tough or cool, it’s counter-productive and irresponsible!
Learn the difference between difficult and painful. Work through the first, deal with the second. You’ll be glad you did both.
