We hear a lot of talk about “self care” from fitness and health professionals.
But what does that really mean?
In truth, we’re spiritual beings having a physical experience.
Our bodies are the temples in which our spirits reside.
Neither is truly our own. Each is a gift from God, from our Creator.
Keep your spirit healthy!
Care for the temple in which it lives.
Does that mean you have to be “ultra-fit?” I don’t know.
What I do know is that if your temple is crumbling and unsteady, your spirit (you) will suffer.
Stress in the temple is stress on the spirit.
When your spirit is in a state of stress, pain, anxiety, fear and despair, you aren’t fulfilling God’s vision for your life.
Care for your spirit by keeping its temple healthy and strong.
Keep the faith and keep after it!
